In Memoriam

I can still remember her face,
Smiling mischievously as only she could.
Her small body strong and vibrant,
So full of life and fury,
Concealing the demons inside
That tortured her to the grave.
It was not the end itself
By which she will be remembered,
But the way she carried on,
Living only as she could,
So full of strength and beauty,
A woman not easily replaced.
