When I arrived on your world,

I could only look to the coldness of space.

Drifting millions of miles

Washes the heart empty...

I knew I couldn’t live among you,

Flawed, programmed, and mortal.

Like a solar flare, I flew

Away to the stars...

I fell too fast, like lightning,

Bringing with me heaven and hell.

But there I froze, mid-air,

Waiting for what never came...
