The Flight of Omega

Picture from the Official Marilyn Manson Website

When I arrived on your world,
I could only look to the coldness of space.

               Drifting millions of miles
               Washes the heart empty...

I knew I couldn't live among you,
Flawed, programmed and mortal.

Like a solar flare, I flew
               Away to the stars...

I fell too fast, like lightning,
Bringing with me heaven and hell.

               But there I froze, mid-air
               Waiting for what never came...

At the end I became them and I led them. After all, none of us really qualified as humans. We were just hard-worn, automatic, and as hollow as the 'o' in God...
